Dr Shabbir Ahmed received his first Master of Arts Degree in 1985 in the area of Shahadat ul Aalamiyah from the Board of Islamic Education, Multan, Pakistan.
He than received two more Master Degrees, both from the University of Sind, Pakistan, the first in 1986, in the area of Arabic/Islamic Studies and second in 1988, in the Islamic Culture.
In 1991, he received his first PhD in Islamic Studies from the Jaamiat ul Uloom il Islamiyah, Karachi, Pakistan, followed by a PhD in Islamic Culture from the University of Sind, Pakistan.
Since 1985, Dr Shabbir, being an Islamic teacher and scholar, has taught Islamic Studies, the Holy Qur’an and Arabic language in several highly respected educational institutions in Pakistan.
Presently, he is working with the Islamic Association Western Suburbs Sydney as a religious teacher and Imam providing Islamic services to all Muslim communities.
Dr Shabbir’s memberships held:

- External examiner in Islamic and Arabic studies at Karachi University, Pakistan;
